Beef Kabobs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 T honey
  • 2 T vinegar
  • 1 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 t ginger
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 1/2  lbs. boneless beef sirloin, cubed 1-inch
  • 1-8 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 3 green bell pepper, cut in 1-inch chunks
  • 2 red onion, cut in 1- inch wedges
  • 10 long metal skewers

Directions:

  1. In a large plastic food storage bag, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, oil, green peppers, onion and beef chunks. Marinate several hours or overnight.
  2. Drain juice
  3. Skewer beef, pineapple and vegetables in an alternating pattern
  4. Grill over hot coals for 18 to 20 minutes or until beef is cooked to your standards
  5. Serves 8
